Insured Service for EMS Fast International Mail allows the customer to obtain additional compensation to the compensation sum due in the event of loss or direct damage to the contents of an EMS international mail item up to a sum of 25,000 NIS.
The service is provided from all postal branches to all customers including courier service subscribers.
The insured service does not apply to jewelry and valuables which are not permitted for shipping on EMS.
The increased compensation only applies to the contents’ actual value. Israel Post shall not be liable for items on this service if the sender has declared a higher value than the contents’ actual value. |

How Much Does it Cost? |

3.70 NIS for every 1,000 NIS of content value or a part thereof (according to the sender’s declaration), up to a sum of 25,000 NIS (in addition to shipping fee). |
