This relationship is highlighted in this commemorative stamp, marking the 75th anniversary of Israel's statehood and 75 years of unbroken diplomatic ties with Romania. Diplomatic relations commenced immediately following Israel's establishment on June 11, 1948, with Romania's recognition. Historically, this bond is further enriched by the Jewish community's presence in Romania since the 15th century.
