The local post office sends a notice to the addressee. |

The addressee must go to the post office with the notice and his/her Israeli Identity Card or passport. |

If the parcel was sent "C.O.D", this will be indicated on the notice and the addressee will have to pay the collect C.O.D. charges in cash before receiving the parcel. |

The parcel is kept at the post office for 14 days from the date the notice was sent. |
