Members and heirs of members can receive payments on account of redeeming Co-Op Blue Square shares at the online postal branches listed below.
Shareholders must come to the postal unit with an ID card and photocopy of ID card. (A passport or driving license is not sufficient).
Payment will be made only to members for whom there is a complete match between the details listed on their I|D cards and the details listed in the list of members and heirs of members held by Israel Post.
The payment sum for a member is 40,000 NIS and for an heir – according to his / her relative part of the inheritance.
Payment will be made via a postal bank check.
Appeals:
Customers that were not found eligible may submit an appeal form at a postal branch.
The request submission fee is 30 NIS.
The request will be examines by the Co-Op Blue Square, that will send the appeal submitted a letter indicating its decision.
In no case will the request submission fee be returned.
Official representative:
An official representative, custodian, guardian, trustee or executor of the will of cooperative society’s member or of the heir of the member will not be allowed to receive the payment on account of share redemption at postal branches.
To receive payment, the representative must submit a written request, sent by registered mail, to the cooperative society, 11 Tuval street, Beit Lazrom, Ramat Gan 52522, and attach an original copy (or copy authorized according to law), power of attorney or decree of appointment of a guardian or estate executor or administrator, as well as a clear photocopy of the ID card of the member or of the heir. The representative is responsible for specifying his full name, address and telephone number. After executing the required examinations, the society will invite the representative to receive payment on account of share redemption.
